How much does the 2015 Subaru Crosstrek cost?

Prices have softened 3.08% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,232 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2015 Subaru Crosstrek a good car?

Generally — the 2015 Subaru Crosstrek earns a 4/5 user rating, which points to solid overall appeal for shoppers who want a compact crossover with real all-weather usefulness. Its appeal comes from the way it combines carlike simplicity, generous ground clearance, protective bodywork, and Subaru’s Symmetrical all-wheel drive system in a practical package. It is especially well suited to you if you want a capable daily driver that can handle dirt roads, snow, and moderate trails while still staying compact and easy to live with.

34.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2015 Subaru Crosstrek reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2015 Crosstrek’s reliability case is helped by its straightforward compact-crossover formula and the fact that Subaru added useful convenience and safety updates for this model year. It was built around a four-cylinder boxer engine, a manual or continuously variable automatic transmission, and standard all-wheel drive, which gives it a familiar and proven setup for used-car shoppers. The model’s practical design and modest mechanical complexity can make it appealing if you want something easy to live with.

For used buyers, long-term ownership risk is most manageable when you focus on maintenance history and avoid neglected examples.

What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Subaru Crosstrek?

At 60% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report on any promising listing and confirm whether prior damage was minor or more serious. A pre-purchase inspection should be a priority, especially if you are considering a higher-mileage example or one with incomplete service records. Focus closely on overall condition, since the best used Crosstreks will show consistent maintenance, clean bodywork, and no signs of hidden repair issues.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Subaru Crosstrek?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you know what to look for.

• Deal availability: 34.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,232 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.08% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 60.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $11,360, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 Subaru Crosstrek's resale value?

The current average of $11,436 sits slightly below last year's $11,800.

That price movement suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For future resale, a model that is already priced below its prior-year average may have less immediate downside if you buy well and keep it in strong condition. The key is to choose a clean, well-maintained example so you preserve as much value as possible over time.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2015 Subaru Crosstrek or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 34.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 60% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.08% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2016 if:

• At $12,547, the 2016 costs more than the current year's $11,436 average.
• It adds more safety tech and a refreshed look.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2015 if you want the better value and are comfortable shopping carefully for condition and history. If you can stretch your budget, the 2016 is the better pick for buyers who want more technology and safety equipment.
