How much does the 2015 Subaru Crosstrek cost?

Prices have softened 5.08% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,262 listings available, which suggests you have a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2015 Subaru Crosstrek a good car?

Generally — the 2015 Subaru Crosstrek earns a 4/5 user rating, which points to strong overall satisfaction for a compact crossover. The overview describes it as a practical, useful small vehicle with generous ground clearance, all-wheel drive, and a straightforward mechanical setup, so it fits you well if you want utility without moving up to a larger SUV. It also emphasizes snow-friendly capability, useful cargo space, and everyday versatility, while noting that acceleration is not its strength. With 33.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2015 Subaru Crosstrek reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview points to simple mechanicals and a basic transportation platform, which can be appealing if you want a vehicle without a lot of complexity. It also highlights the Crosstrek’s practical, durable-minded character and its reputation for handling snow well. For used buyers, that usually means lower drama over time if the vehicle has been maintained properly, but you should still watch for wear tied to age, mileage, and prior use.

What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Subaru Crosstrek?

At 60.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with past damage. Then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on body condition, alignment, and signs of repair quality. Because this model is valued for practicality and all-weather use, focus on how well the vehicle has been maintained rather than just the odometer reading.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Subaru Crosstrek?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 33.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,262 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.08% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 60.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $11,352, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 Subaru Crosstrek's resale value?

The current average of $11,356 sits slightly below last year's $11,964.

That decline suggests the market has become a bit softer, which can help you buy at a better entry point today. For a future seller, it also means resale gains may be limited unless the vehicle is especially clean, well maintained, and attractively equipped. Because the model still has broad practical appeal, a well-kept example should remain easier to move than a neglected one.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2015 Subaru Crosstrek or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 33.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 60.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.08% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2016 if:

• At $12,554, the 2016 costs more than the current year's $11,356 average.
• It adds Starlink and more driver-assistance features.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2015 if you want the lower price and are comfortable shopping carefully for condition and history. If you can stretch your budget, the 2016 is the better secondary path because its added technology and safety equipment make it the more modern choice.
