Is the 2015 Scion tC a good car?

With a moderate market verdict, this model year looks like a reasonable used-car choice if you want to balance price, availability, and shopping flexibility. The current average price of $10,403 also keeps it in a relatively accessible range for many buyers.

25.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so you still have room to find a competitive offer if you shop carefully.

What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Scion tC?

At 39.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection so you can catch repair quality, hidden damage, or wear that photos may not show. Focus especially on overall condition, since a lower-priced listing can still be a poor value if it has unresolved body, suspension, or maintenance issues.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Scion tC?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market: there are enough listings to shop around, but the best-priced examples may move quickly.

• Deal availability: 25.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 118 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices are up 1.53% year-over-year.
• Clean inventory: 39.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $10,096, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 Scion tC's resale value?

The current average of $10,403 sits slightly above last year's $10,246.

That modest increase suggests the market has held up reasonably well, which can support resale confidence if you buy at a fair price. If you keep the car in strong condition and avoid overpaying now, you may be better positioned when it’s time to sell. The year-over-year gain is not dramatic, but it does point to steady demand rather than a sharp drop in value.

Should I buy a 2015 Scion tC or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 25.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 39.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices are up 1.53% year-over-year.

The bottom line: The 2015 makes sense if you want a reasonably priced entry point and are willing to shop carefully for condition and history. If you’re more price-sensitive, compare nearby years and focus on the cleanest, best-documented example rather than chasing the lowest sticker price alone.
