How much does the 2015 RAM 3500 cost?

Is the 2015 RAM 3500 a good car?

Yes — 4.5/5 is a strong user rating for this truck. Owners consistently praise its strong performance, especially its towing capability and overall power, and they also highlight its dependable nature and the range of features available. If you want a heavy-duty truck that can handle serious work while still offering a more refined cabin than a basic workhorse, the 2015 RAM 3500 fits that use case well. With 31.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2015 RAM 3500 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The review summary points to a truck that owners see as dependable, trouble-free, and capable of handling heavy use over time. That kind of feedback matters for a used heavy-duty truck, because long-term ownership risk is often tied to how well the vehicle has held up under demanding work.

What should I look for when buying a used 2015 RAM 3500?

At 63.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from trucks with prior damage or repeated claims. After that, prioritize a thorough inspection of the frame, suspension, bed, and towing-related components, since this model is often used hard. It also makes sense to focus on overall condition and maintenance records, because a heavy-duty truck’s value depends heavily on how it was treated.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 RAM 3500?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 31.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

If you find a listing below $28,856, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 RAM 3500's resale value?

The current average of $30,762 sits slightly below last year's $33,384.

That softer pricing suggests the market has become a bit more favorable for buyers, but it can also mean future sellers may need to price competitively to stand out. If you buy well and keep the truck in strong condition, you may be better positioned when it comes time to resell. Trucks with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2015 RAM 3500 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 31.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 63.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.85% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a heavy-duty truck with strong owner approval and a market that has eased a bit, the 2015 RAM 3500 is a sensible place to start. You should lean toward this year if you find a clean, well-documented example at a competitive price; if you’re especially price-sensitive, it also makes sense to compare nearby model years and focus on the best-maintained truck rather than the newest badge.
