Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Nissan Pathfinder?

• Deal availability: 28.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

If you find a listing below $8,174, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 Nissan Pathfinder's resale value?

The current average of $8,174 sits slightly below last year's $9,630.

That price movement suggests the model has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can help future sellers if the market stabilizes. If you buy well and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you may be better positioned to limit further value loss. Demand should also stay supported by the model’s strong owner satisfaction.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.3/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2015 Nissan Pathfinder or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 28.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 57.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.12% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.3/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2016 if:

• At $9,085, the 2016 costs more than the current year's $8,174 average.
• It feels more forgettable but still delivers a spacious, comfortable family crossover experience.

The bottom line: You should start with the 2015 if value matters most, because pricing is softer and inventory is broad enough to shop carefully. If you want to spend more for a newer model year, the 2016 is the secondary path, but it asks for a higher budget without a dramatic value jump.
