Why it stands out
The 2015 Lexus NX is designed to stand out in the compact luxury crossover market with its striking and unique exterior that has drawn attention from both consumers and competitors alike. Many appreciate its aggressive design that differentiates it from more traditional offerings, appealing especially to those with a taste for the avant-garde. Inside, the NX offers a well-appointed cabin with quality materials and a range of comfort features, making it a pleasant place for both drivers and passengers.
However, the model's standout features come with some caveats. While it is known for its reliability and safety, evidenced by strong ratings in those areas, some drivers have criticized the NX for its sluggish performance relative to expectations, especially with its 2.0-liter turbocharged engine paired with a sometimes indecisive transmission. Additionally, the technology interface, particularly the Remote Touchpad, has garnered negative feedback for being unintuitive and distracting. Overall, while the Lexus NX impresses with its design and many luxury traits, potential buyers should carefully consider their preferences regarding performance and usability.

This is in my opinion, the very best midsize SUV on the market. Its great in all weather conditions, handles well, acceleration is better than the heavier V6 Lexus RX. The 4 cyl turbo.. lighter than the larger RX & is one of the most reliable vehicles in the market. When you give it gas & need to accelerate, it moves on demand. The only SUV that is just as solid, reliable and fun to drive.. is the 2019-2022 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring Turbo, AWD signature reserve model (224-250hp) that won Car & Driver midsize SUV of the year. I have owned both & you cant go wrong with either vehicle. The Lexus NX 200t has a slight edge, yet costs roughly $5500-7500 more as a new purchase. If you love to drive and enjoy performance, both are exceptional SUVs.. I have owned both. Never had a single issue after 125k miles of driving (40k) mi per year. Best of luck. You wont be disappointed
