Used 2015 Lexus NX for Sale nearHartford, CT

How much does the 2015 Lexus NX cost?

Prices have softened 5.22% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 391 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2015 Lexus NX a good car?

Yes — with a 5/5 user rating and an expert rating of 6.33/10, the 2015 Lexus NX has clear appeal if you want a compact luxury crossover that stands out visually. The NX is described as a daringly styled entrant with futuristic looks, and that design-first approach is a major part of its appeal for shoppers who want something more distinctive than a conventional luxury crossover.

The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel and Safety.

The trade-offs are just as clear: the powertrain is described as balky and sluggish, and the center-stack controls are complicated with poor ergonomic design and unintuitive technology. That means you may like it most if you value style, safety, and efficiency more than quick acceleration or a simple interface.

Only 36.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so you still need to shop carefully even in a market with some value opportunities.

Is the 2015 Lexus NX reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The NX is described as generally reliable in the cost-effectiveness discussion, and it also earns a favorable depreciation rating, which suggests it should hold value well over time. The overview and expert notes also point to a vehicle that emphasizes reassurance and efficiency in a premium package, even if some of its controls and drivetrain behavior are less polished than you might want.

The NX comes with free roadside assistance for the first few years of ownership, which is a useful ownership perk. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that the premium features and complicated interfaces can age less gracefully than the core mechanical package.

What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Lexus NX?

At 52.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-mileage example or one with optional equipment. Pay close attention to how the drivetrain responds in everyday driving, whether the electronics work cleanly, and whether the cabin controls feel intuitive enough for you to live with.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The F Sport Package adds unique 18-inch aluminum wheels with upgraded tires, a sport-tuned suspension, revised styling details inside and out, transmission paddle shifters, and performance-oriented gauges. It also brings a firmer ride and a greater connection to the road, so it suits you best if you want a more engaging setup rather than the smoothest one.
• Powertrain: The NX 200t uses a turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder with 235 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 6-speed automatic and available all-wheel drive. The performance notes also point to uneven, wavering acceleration and a transmission that can get confused when you ask for passing power.
• Safety package: Every version gets a rear-view camera, while available upgrades include Lexus Enform Safety Connect, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning, a pre-collision system with autonomous braking, parking-assist sensors, and rain-sensing wipers. Many of these features are optional rather than standard.
• Infotainment: The Navigation Package adds a navigation system, Lexus Enform smartphone connectivity and services, enhanced Bluetooth, advanced voice-command technology, and a remote touchpad controller. The interface is described as complicated, so you should test it yourself before buying.
• Fuel efficiency: The NX 200t returned a 22.3-mpg test average, and the EPA estimate cited for combined driving is 24 mpg.

Which 2015 Lexus NX trim should I buy?

The 2015 Lexus NX is offered in 1 trim level: NX 200t.

Here's the short version:

The NX 200t is the trim to focus on if you want the core gas model with the NX’s distinctive styling and available luxury features. It gives you the turbocharged 2.0-liter engine, and the available F Sport Package is the main way to make it feel more athletic, though it also firms up the ride. If you want the best value, look for a well-equipped NX 200t that has the safety and convenience options you actually plan to use, since many desirable features were bundled into packages.

The safety content notes that many upgrades are optional, so make sure the specific vehicle you’re considering has the driver-assistance features you want.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Lexus NX?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, with some room to negotiate if you shop carefully.

• Deal availability: 36.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 391 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.22% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 52.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $17,306, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 Lexus NX's resale value?

The current average of $17,460 sits slightly below last year's $18,421.

That price movement suggests the market has softened, which can help you as a buyer but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. Even so, the NX’s favorable depreciation rating points to better-than-average value retention for a luxury crossover. If you buy at the right price and keep the vehicle in good condition, you should be in a reasonable position when it’s time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2015 Lexus NX safe?

The 2015 Lexus NX earns a Top Safety Pick rating from the IIHS.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Every NX comes with a rear-view camera, and available safety tech includes Lexus Enform Safety Connect, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning, a pre-collision system with autonomous braking, parking-assist sensors, and rain-sensing wipers. The main caveat is that most of these features are optional, so you need to verify the exact equipment on the used example you’re considering.

Should I buy a 2015 Lexus NX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 36.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 52.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.22% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2015 stands out for its daring styling and strong safety ratings, but its balky powertrain and complicated controls are the main compromises.

The bottom line: The 2015 Lexus NX makes the most sense if you want a distinctive luxury crossover and you’re willing to accept some drivetrain and interface compromises. If your priority is value, the softened pricing and decent deal availability make this a reasonable year to target; if you want a more polished driving experience, you may want to compare it carefully with other model years before deciding.
