How much does the 2015 INFINITI Q50 cost?

Prices have softened 2.84% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 414 listings available, which suggests a modest amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2015 INFINITI Q50 a good car?

Yes — the 2015 INFINITI Q50 earns a 4.63/5 from owners and a 7.33/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Performance, and Technology.

Owners consistently praise its luxury feel, powerful engine, smooth handling, and stylish design. That lines up with the Q50’s broad appeal as a car that can be configured as a comfortable all-weather performer, a tech-forward luxury sedan, or a sportier driver’s car. Even with some complaints about trunk space and the touch screen, the overall package lands well for shoppers who want style and versatility. 28.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2015 INFINITI Q50 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.63/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a car that feels dependable in daily use, with repeated praise for its powerful engine, smooth handling, and overall satisfaction. The expert commentary also describes the Q50’s mechanical side as likely to be durable and dependable, even if some of the car’s newer technology can complicate ownership impressions. If you’re buying used, the main long-term risk is less about basic durability and more about how well the car’s tech-heavy equipment has aged and been maintained.

What should I look for when buying a used 2015 INFINITI Q50?

At 49.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-spec car with more technology or performance equipment. Pay close attention to signs of prior bodywork, uneven tire wear, steering feel, infotainment behavior, and any evidence that the car’s advanced systems have been repaired or recalibrated. A clean-looking listing can still hide expensive issues, so condition matters as much as mileage.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base car is positioned as the entry point, while the Premium trim adds more equipment and is the step the source points to for buyers who want a richer feature set. The Technology Package also brings a broad set of driver-assistance systems, but it requires stepping up through other equipment first.
• Powertrain: The Q50 uses a 3.7-liter V6 rated at 328 hp and 269 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 7-speed automatic. The source also notes an official combined estimate of 23 mpg, while the test vehicle returned 19.2 mpg in mixed driving.
• Safety package: The Technology Package adds Active Lane Control, Distance Control Assist, and Blind Spot Intervention. The source also notes that you must first get the Deluxe Touring Package to get that package, which means the steering hardware requirement can matter when shopping.
• Infotainment: The car uses Infiniti InTouch, InTouch Apps, and InTuition, with dual screens, a touchscreen lower display, and a touch-sensitive upper navigation screen. The source does not state wireless smartphone integration or OTA capability.
• Fuel efficiency: The source cites 23 mpg combined as the official estimate and 19.2 mpg in testing.

Which 2015 INFINITI Q50 trim should I buy?

The 2015 INFINITI Q50 is offered in 3 trim levels: standard, Premium, S.

Here's the short version:

• standard: This is the entry point, but the source makes clear that it leaves you wanting more equipment if you care about value or comfort. It suits you if you want the lowest starting point and plan to keep the car simple.
• Premium: This is the best-value choice for most shoppers because the source specifically points to it as the trim you’d want to step up to for more equipment. It’s the smarter pick if you want a more complete luxury experience without chasing the most expensive setup.
• S: This is the trim for you if you want the sportier character, especially when paired with the performance wheel-and-tire package and upgraded brakes. The source also notes that the steering package can make the car feel artificial, so enthusiasts may want to be selective about options.

For safety equipment, the Technology Package adds the key driver-assistance systems, but it requires the Deluxe Touring Package first.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 INFINITI Q50?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough inventory and deal activity to reward comparison shopping.

• Deal availability: 28.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 414 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.84% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 49.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $12,236, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 INFINITI Q50's resale value?

The current average of $12,544 sits slightly below last year's $12,910.

That downward move suggests the Q50 has been under some pricing pressure, which can be a mixed signal for future sellers. On one hand, softer prices can make it easier to buy in now; on the other, they can limit how much value you recover later if the market stays cautious. Strong owner satisfaction helps support demand, but the car’s resale performance will still depend heavily on condition, mileage, and equipment.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.63/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2015 INFINITI Q50 safe?

The 2015 INFINITI Q50 gets decent crash-test ratings, though the source notes that the front passenger earns just three-star protection in a frontal-impact collision and that an Acceptable IIHS small-overlap result would not qualify for a Top Safety Pick rating starting in 2016.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

The Technology Package adds Active Lane Control, Distance Control Assist, and Blind Spot Intervention, and those systems can be turned on and off from a steering-wheel button. The source also notes that you must first get the Deluxe Touring Package to get the Technology Package, so safety equipment is tied to trim and option selection. The main caveat is that the car’s more advanced driver-assistance setup depends on a specific package path, and the crash-test note suggests you should not assume every version is equally well equipped.

Should I buy a 2015 INFINITI Q50 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 28.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 49.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.84% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.63/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2015 stands out for its wide range of personalities, from comfortable luxury cruiser to sporty sedan.

Consider the 2014 if:

• At $11,784, the 2014 costs less than the current year's $12,544 average.
• It launches Infiniti’s new naming, styling, and tech direction in one aggressive luxury sedan.

Consider the 2016 if:

• At $13,675, the 2016 costs more than the current year's $12,544 average.
• It feels more credible as a legitimate luxury sports sedan.

The bottom line: The 2015 is the right pick if you want the broadest mix of style, performance, and technology at a softened price. If you’re more price-sensitive, the 2014 can save you money, while the 2016 makes sense if you want the later update and are willing to pay more for it.
