How much does the 2015 INFINITI Q50 cost?

Prices have softened 3.68% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 394 listings available, which gives you a meaningful amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2015 INFINITI Q50 a good car?

Yes — the 2015 INFINITI Q50 earns a 4.63/5 user rating and a 7.33/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Performance, and Technology.

Owners consistently praise its luxury, performance, and features, along with its powerful engine, smooth handling, and stylish design. That lines up with the overview: you can shop it as a comfortable all-weather performer, a tech-forward luxury car, a fuel-efficient choice, or a sport sedan depending on configuration.

The market also shows 27.4% of listings as good or great deals, so you have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2015 INFINITI Q50 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.63/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner summary points to a car that feels dependable in daily use, with praise for its performance, luxury, and features. The expert notes also say the Q50 is likely to be just as durable and dependable as the G37 and G35 before it, which supports confidence in the mechanical side of ownership.

The main long-term risk for used buyers is that newer technology can bring more complexity, so you should pay close attention to how the systems behave during a test drive and in service records.

What should I look for when buying a used 2015 INFINITI Q50?

At 49% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially if the car has advanced equipment or a sport-oriented setup. Focus on condition, signs of prior repair, and whether the electronics, steering, and infotainment behave as they should.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base version is positioned as the entry point, while the Premium trim adds equipment buyers are often pushed toward for a more complete luxury experience.
• Powertrain: The Q50 uses a 3.7-liter V6 with 328 hp and 269 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 7-speed automatic transmission. It also offers drive modes including Eco, Sport, Snow/Ice, and Personal.
• Safety package: The Technology Package adds Active Lane Control, Distance Control Assist, and Blind Spot Intervention. It must be paired with the Deluxe Touring Package, which means you also get Direct Adaptive Steering.
• Infotainment: The car uses Infiniti InTouch, InTouch Apps, and InTuition, with dual screens, touch capability, and smartphone streaming support.
• Fuel efficiency: The expert test drive returned 19.2 mpg, short of the EPA’s 23-mpg combined estimate.

Which 2015 INFINITI Q50 trim should I buy?

The 2015 INFINITI Q50 is offered in 4 trim levels: 3.7, Premium, S, and 3.7 Premium.

Here's the short version:

• 3.7: This is the entry point if you want the Q50 experience at the lowest starting price, but the content makes clear that you may quickly want to move up for a more complete luxury setup.
• Premium: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds the equipment the source repeatedly points to as important for a more satisfying ownership experience.
• S: Choose this if you want the sportier character, including the more aggressive styling and the hardware that supports sharper driving.
• 3.7 Premium: This is the strongest all-around choice if you want a better-equipped Q50 without jumping all the way to the sport-focused setup.

The safety-package note to keep in mind is that the Technology Package requires the Deluxe Touring Package first, so some advanced driver-assistance features are not available on their own.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 INFINITI Q50?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without feeling rushed.

• Deal availability: 27.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 394 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.68% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 49.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $12,238, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 INFINITI Q50's resale value?

The current average of $12,680 sits slightly below last year's $13,165.

That softer pricing suggests the model has already absorbed some depreciation, which can help future sellers if they buy at the right price today. If you shop carefully now, you may have less downside left than a buyer who paid closer to the prior-year average.

The model’s broad appeal also helps: buyers still respond to its mix of luxury, performance, and technology, which supports demand in the used market.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.63/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2015 INFINITI Q50 safe?

The 2015 INFINITI Q50 gets decent crash-test ratings, though the source notes room for improvement. The front passenger earns a three-star rating in a frontal-impact collision, and the small overlap frontal-impact result is described as Acceptable.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

The Technology Package adds Active Lane Control, Distance Control Assist, and Blind Spot Intervention, and those systems can be turned on and off from a steering-wheel button. The catch is that you must first get the Deluxe Touring Package to access that package.

The main caveat is that the safety story is tied to equipment level, so you should verify exactly which packages a used example has before you buy.

Should I buy a 2015 INFINITI Q50 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 27.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 49% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.68% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.63/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It offers a wide range of personalities, from comfort and tech to sport-sedan character.

Consider the 2014 if:

• At $11,729, the 2014 costs less than the current year's $12,680 average.
• It brings Infiniti’s new naming, styling, and technology direction together in one aggressive luxury sedan.

Consider the 2016 if:

• At $13,619, the 2016 costs more than the current year's $12,680 average.
• It was improved for 2016 and feels more like a legitimate luxury sports sedan.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, satisfaction, and feature-rich appeal, the 2015 is the smart default. If you’re especially price-sensitive, the 2014 can save you money, while the 2016 makes sense if you want the later update and are willing to pay more.
