At 55.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

Should I buy a 2015 Honda Odyssey or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 36.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 55.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.96% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.87/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It blends family-focused practicality with strong safety and a more distinctive design than many minivans.

Consider the 2014 if:

• At $10,785, the 2014 costs less than the current year's $12,395 average.
• It is a highly competent family hauler with broad everyday versatility.

Consider the 2016 if:

• At $13,984, the 2016 costs more than the current year's $12,395 average.
• It emphasizes comfort, flexibility, and family-friendly space with strong safety ratings.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, safety, and owner satisfaction, the 2015 is the primary year to target. If you’re especially price-sensitive, the 2014 is the value play, while the 2016 makes sense if you’re willing to pay more for a newer example.
