CarGurus Analysis: 2015 Honda Fit
overall

Summary
With 441 currently listed for sale and an average price of $11,414.00, 27.7% of 2015 Honda Fits for sale on CarGurus are rated as good or great deals.
Favorably reviewed: Owners rated the 2015 Honda Fit 4.75 / 5 stars and CarGurus experts gave it an 8.5 / 10.
55.6% of 2015 Fit models on CarGurus are accident free.
Why it stands out
The redesigned 2015 Honda Fit stands out for blending practicality with personality. It is still quirky and remarkably fun to drive, yet it is also better than ever in other respects. That combination gives it a grown-up feel without losing the offbeat character that helps define it.
Honda’s strength with small cars comes through clearly here: the 2015 Fit is presented as fun, affordable, and practical, and it feels more like a reward than a penalty box to own and drive. That makes it appealing to buyers who want an economical car that does not feel dull or purely utilitarian.
Owners also tend to praise the 2015 Honda Fit for its spacious interior, excellent gas mileage, and impressive cargo space. Some, however, find the handling less enjoyable and the engine noise a bit loud, so its strengths are balanced by a few everyday compromises.

Love this car. LOVE THIS CAR. Its small, but not cramped. Cargo space is amazing. So is gas mileage. Just expect to use a windshield screen--the windshield is really sloped and heats up.

I was surprised with all the accessories and features that bring the 2015 Honda Fit. The EX version I got is fully loaded with technology ahead of its time for the model. Not only the design and functionality is super well made, the interface with the multimedia and car features is great. The 6 Speed Manual Is super fun to drive and make it a hot hatch in the city.

2015 Honda Fit Price Trends
CarGurus tracks the prices of millions of used car listings every year. See how the average price of 2015 Honda Fit prices has changed over time.
See more price trendsHow much does the 2015 Honda Fit cost?
| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Current Average Price | $11,425 |
| Year-Round Low | $10,168.44 |
| Year-Round High | $11,418.96 |
| Average Price a Year Ago | $10,942 |
| Change vs. Last Year | +4.42% |
Prices are up 4.42% year-over-year — a sign of continued demand for this model year.
There are 449 listings available, which gives you a decent amount of inventory to compare before you buy.
If you find a listing below $10,168.44, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.
Is the 2015 Honda Fit a good car?
Yes — the 2015 Honda Fit earns a 4.75/5 user rating and an 8.5/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Cost effectiveness at 10/10.
Owners consistently praise the spacious interior, excellent gas mileage, and impressive cargo space. The model also comes through as practical and value-oriented, which fits the way you’d use it if you want an economical compact car that still feels rewarding to own.
That lines up with the overview: you get a car that is practical without feeling dull, and it keeps some personality in the process. With 28.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, there are still attractive opportunities if you shop carefully.
Is the 2015 Honda Fit reliable?
Owners rate it 4.75/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.
The owner feedback also points to a car that feels dependable and practical over time, with praise centered on its value-oriented nature and everyday usefulness. The expert commentary reinforces that impression by describing it as nearly bulletproof in terms of reliability.
You also get a helpful ownership perk in the form of three years and 36,000 miles of free roadside assistance coverage. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is making sure the car was maintained well, since a small car that’s been used hard can show wear more quickly than you’d like.
What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Honda Fit?
At 55% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the car has had any collision repairs. Focus on body condition, alignment, and signs of uneven wear, since those can reveal whether a past incident was handled well.
Key things to evaluate:
- Trim level: The EX trim adds LaneWatch and a 7-inch touchscreen, while the base setup lacks those convenience and visibility upgrades.
- Powertrain: The 1.5-liter 4-cylinder makes 130 horsepower and is paired with a 6-speed manual in the test vehicle; it is spirited rather than fast, and it returns strong fuel economy.
- Safety package: LaneWatch is standard on the EX test car, and the rear-view camera is standard across the model; models with HondaLink also get automatic collision notification.
- Infotainment: The EX and EX-L models use a 7-inch touchscreen, support HondaLink connectivity, and can work with supported mobile apps through a connected iPhone.
- Fuel efficiency: The Fit is rated at 29 mpg city and 37 highway, and the test vehicle averaged 34.7 mpg in combined driving.
Which 2015 Honda Fit trim should I buy?
The 2015 Honda Fit is offered in 1 trim level: EX.
Here's the short version:
The EX trim is the one described here, and it brings the 7-inch touchscreen, HondaLink support, and LaneWatch. If you want the most complete version of this model year as presented in the data, this is the trim to focus on.
Safety-package note: LaneWatch is standard on the EX test car, and the rear-view camera is standard equipment.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Honda Fit?
It’s a seller’s market, so you should act selectively and be ready to move when a strong listing appears.
- Deal availability: 28.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Inventory: There are 449 listings available.
- Price trend: Prices are up 4.42% year-over-year.
- Clean inventory: 55.0% of listings are accident-free.
If you find a listing below $10,168.44, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.
What is the 2015 Honda Fit's resale value?
The current average of $11,425 sits slightly above last year's $10,942.
That upward move suggests the market has remained willing to pay for this model year, which is a positive sign if you plan to sell later. The Fit’s practical packaging, strong fuel economy, and value reputation help support demand among used-car shoppers.
Because the price is still holding above last year’s level, you may not see dramatic depreciation pressure in the near term. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.75/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.
Is the 2015 Honda Fit safe?
The 2015 Honda Fit earns a Top Safety Pick rating from IIHS and a top five-star protection rating from NHTSA.
It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.
The standard safety setup includes LaneWatch, which uses a right-side camera view, plus a rear-view camera with a 180-degree view behind the car. Models with HondaLink also benefit from automatic collision notification.
There is one important caveat: IIHS gives it an Acceptable rating rather than Good in the small overlap front crash test, and LaneWatch is not a full blind-spot monitoring system. That makes careful test-driving and feature checking especially important if safety tech matters to you.
Should I buy a 2015 Honda Fit or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2015 if:
- 28.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- At 55% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
- Price trend: Prices are up 4.42% year-over-year.
- Owners rate it 4.75/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
- Honda’s summary for this year emphasizes a rare subcompact that feels more like a reward than a penalty box to own and drive.
The bottom line: If you want the redesigned Fit with strong practicality, good fuel economy, and a lively personality, the 2015 model year is a solid target. If you’re especially price-sensitive, shop carefully and focus on clean-history examples near the low end of the range, since the market is still leaning in sellers’ favor.
