How much does the 2015 Honda CR-V cost?

Prices are up 1.14% year-over-year — a sign of continued demand for this model year.

There are 3,797 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2015 Honda CR-V a good car?

Generally — the 2015 Honda CR-V earns a 4.47/5 user rating and an 8.5/10 expert rating, which points to broad appeal for used shoppers. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, Cost effectiveness, and Safety.

Drivers repeatedly praise its smooth ride, spacious trunk, and solid build quality, and the overview frames it as a practical SUV that blends everyday usefulness with a polished driving feel. That makes it a strong fit if you want a roomy, sensible crossover that prioritizes comfort and utility over flash. With 32.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2015 Honda CR-V reliable?

Owners rate it 4.47/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback points to a reputation for reliability, solid build quality, and a dependable ownership experience, with many drivers highlighting the brand’s long-standing practicality and durability. The expert evaluation also emphasizes reliability and efficiency in a roomy package, and the cost-effectiveness notes say Honda provides free roadside assistance for the first 3 years or 36,000 miles of ownership.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is making sure a specific example has been maintained well, since condition and prior use will matter more than the model’s overall reputation.

What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Honda CR-V?

At 58.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a careful inspection of bodywork, alignment, and any signs of prior repair. Because owner feedback mentions concerns about vibrations, engine performance, and safety features, it makes sense to focus on how the vehicle drives, how smoothly it idles, and whether all driver-assistance and convenience features work as expected.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Touring trim adds a power rear liftgate, adaptive cruise control, a forward-collision mitigation system, a navigation system, and 18-inch aluminum wheels, while the lower trims are more basic in equipment.
• Powertrain: The CR-V uses a direct-injected 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine with a continuously variable transmission, and Honda says it delivers more torque than the previous engine while remaining smooth and peppy.
• Safety package: The available safety suite includes LaneWatch camera technology, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, forward-collision warning, and collision-mitigation braking, with the most advanced equipment concentrated on the Touring trim.
• Infotainment: The system centers on a 7-inch touchscreen and includes Bluetooth audio streaming, text-messaging support, a USB port, an auxiliary audio input jack, and HondaLink smartphone integration.
• Fuel efficiency: The expert review says the CR-V Touring averaged 24.8 mpg in highway-heavy driving and missed the EPA combined rating of 28 mpg by 3.2 mpg.

Which 2015 Honda CR-V trim should I buy?

The 2015 Honda CR-V is offered in 4 trim levels: LX, EX, EX-L, Touring.

Here's the short version:

• LX: This is the entry point, so it makes sense if you want the CR-V’s core practicality at the lowest cost and do not need the extra convenience and safety equipment found higher up.
• EX: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds more everyday comfort and features without jumping all the way to the top of the range.
• EX-L: Choose this if you want a more upscale feel and are willing to pay for a richer equipment mix.
• Touring: This is the most fully equipped version, adding the power rear liftgate, adaptive cruise control, forward-collision mitigation, navigation, and 18-inch wheels.

The Touring trim is where the most advanced safety and convenience features live, so if those matter to you, it is the trim to target.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Honda CR-V?

This looks like a moderate market, so you can shop carefully without feeling rushed, but the better listings may still move quickly.

• Deal availability: 32.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,797 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices are up 1.14% year-over-year.
• Clean inventory: 58.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $13,538, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 Honda CR-V's resale value?

The current average of $14,436 sits slightly above last year's $14,273.

That modest increase suggests the market still values this model year’s mix of practicality and reputation. For a future seller, that is a helpful sign: demand appears steady enough to support pricing, especially if your vehicle has a clean history and strong condition.

Because the CR-V is widely viewed as a sensible, dependable used SUV, well-kept examples should remain attractive to shoppers who want a low-drama ownership experience. Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.47/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2015 Honda CR-V safe?

The 2015 Honda CR-V earns a Top Safety Pick rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety and a four-star overall rating from NHTSA, with five-star ratings in every assessment except rollover resistance and front passenger protection in a frontal-impact collision, where it earns four-star ratings.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Honda’s safety suite includes LaneWatch camera technology, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, forward-collision warning, and collision-mitigation braking. The Touring trim gets the fullest set of available safety features, while the expert review notes that LaneWatch can be complicated and the lane-departure warning system can be intrusive.

Should I buy a 2015 Honda CR-V or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 32.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 58.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices are up 1.14% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 4.47/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• The 2015 model year brings a refreshed design, a more fuel-efficient engine, and added safety technology.

The bottom line: The 2015 CR-V is the right pick if you want the refreshed version of this generation with strong practicality, good safety credentials, and broad shopper appeal. If your priority is simply finding the lowest price, a nearby year may be worth a look, but the 2015 stands out as the more polished and better-equipped choice.
