How much does the 2015 GMC Canyon cost?

There are 406 listings available, which gives you a solid pool to compare prices and equipment.

Is the 2015 GMC Canyon a good car?

Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating for the 2015 GMC Canyon. The overview shows a midsize pickup that leans toward refinement, with a more traditional GMC look, useful cab choices, and a strong mix of comfort and technology for the class. It also offers practical capability, including respectable towing numbers and available off-road equipment, so you can shop it as both a daily driver and a work-ready truck. With 30.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market still gives you room to find a compelling example.

Is the 2015 GMC Canyon reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview points to a truck with a balanced reputation: it combines useful capability with a comfortable, well-equipped cabin, but it also has some clear compromises in fuel economy and crash-test results. For used buyers, that means reliability should be judged carefully by condition and maintenance history rather than by reputation alone.

What should I look for when buying a used 2015 GMC Canyon?

At 61.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection from a trusted mechanic. Focus on body condition, signs of prior repair, and whether the truck’s equipment and trim level match the listing description.

If you find a listing below $16,564, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 GMC Canyon's resale value?

The current average of $16,936 sits slightly below last year's $18,029.

That price movement suggests the Canyon has softened enough to create a better entry point for you now, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays flat. If you buy well and keep the truck in strong condition, you should be better positioned to protect value when it’s time to sell. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2015 GMC Canyon or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 30.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 61.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.06% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2016 if:

• At $18,337, the 2016 costs more than the current year's $16,936 average.
• The 2016 brings a refreshed take on the midsize truck formula with a revived segment presence.

The bottom line: If you want the better value play, the 2015 is the stronger starting point because it combines a lower average price with solid deal availability. If you’re willing to pay more for a newer model year, the 2016 is the better secondary path for buyers who want to compare refreshed inventory before deciding.
