Used 2015 Chrysler 200 for Sale nearNew Orleans, LA

How much does the 2015 Chrysler 200 cost?

Prices have softened 3.63% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 835 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2015 Chrysler 200 a good car?

It’s a well-rounded choice if you want a midsize sedan that emphasizes style, features, and a polished feel, and the 3.88/5 user rating and 8.17/10 expert rating point to broad appeal with a few clear tradeoffs.

The standout strength is Technology at 10/10.

Owners commonly praise its good power, stylish looks, and fuel efficiency, while the overview also highlights its upscale presentation and family-sedan mission. That makes it especially appealing if you want a sedan that feels more premium than ordinary daily transportation, even if rear-seat space and outward visibility are not its strongest points.

26.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so there’s some room to shop carefully.

Is the 2015 Chrysler 200 reliable?

The 2015 Chrysler 200 is presented as a car that should be relatively affordable to own, with lower-than-average overall ownership costs and three years or 36,000 miles of free roadside assistance.

User feedback does raise reliability concerns, with owners mentioning mechanical issues and frustration over long-term dependability. The expert commentary also notes that the car’s build quality is impressive, which helps, but it stops short of making a strong reliability claim.

For used buyers, that means you should treat condition and maintenance history as especially important, because long-term ownership risk depends heavily on how well a specific car has been cared for.

What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Chrysler 200?

At 55.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-mileage example or one with a lot of prior owners. Pay close attention to body condition, signs of repair, and whether the car’s features and electronics work as intended. Because this model’s appeal depends so much on its polished presentation, condition matters a lot.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The LX is the entry point, while the Limited adds a voice-controlled 5-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth connectivity, LED running lights, and 17-inch alloy wheels. The 200S brings a firmer suspension, paddle shifters, dual exhaust outlets, heated side mirrors, darkened exterior trim, fog lights, unique 18-inch wheels, and sport seats, while the 200C adds leather seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, rear-seat vents, remote engine start, and a reversing camera.
• Powertrain: You can choose between an inline 4-cylinder and a V6 engine, and some trims are available with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. The V6 is described as strong and enthusiastic, while the 9-speed automatic can be refined but occasionally hesitant.
• Safety package: Chrysler’s SafetyTec Package adds adaptive cruise control with stop and go, frontal-collision warning, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot and cross-traffic detection, rain-sensing wipers, automatic high-beam headlights, and a self-parking system. Several of these features are limited to the 200C, while blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert is also available on the 200S.
• Infotainment: The available Uconnect Access system includes an 8.4-inch color touchscreen, Bluetooth connectivity with text messaging support, navigation, remote access to vehicle features, smartphone integration, and mobile Wi-Fi hotspot capability.
• Fuel efficiency: The V6 test car averaged 22 mpg during driving, matching the EPA figure cited in the review.

Which 2015 Chrysler 200 trim should I buy?

The 2015 Chrysler 200 is offered in 4 trim levels: LX, Limited, 200S and 200C.

Here's the short version:

• LX: This is the starting point, but the available information makes the Limited look like the better value if you want more everyday convenience and a more polished cabin without jumping too far up the price ladder.
• Limited: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds the voice-controlled 5-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth connectivity, LED running lights, 17-inch alloy wheels, and broader access to options.
• 200S: Choose this if you want a more athletic setup, since it adds a firmer suspension, paddle shifters, sport seats, darker exterior trim, and unique wheels.
• 200C: This is the most luxurious choice, with leather seats, heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, remote start, a reversing camera, and more upscale exterior details.

The SafetyTec Package is especially valuable, but several of its features are limited to the 200C, so that trim is the one to target if advanced driver assistance matters most.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Chrysler 200?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient and compare condition carefully.

• Deal availability: 26.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 835 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.63% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 55.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $8,193, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 Chrysler 200's resale value?

The current average of $8,225 sits slightly below last year's $8,536.

That downward move suggests the market has softened, which can be good news if you’re buying now but less favorable if you’re thinking about future resale. If you own one for a few years, you should expect value retention to depend heavily on mileage, condition, and maintenance history.

For a future seller, the key takeaway is that a clean, well-kept example should hold up better than a neglected one. Because the model already sits in a softer pricing environment, strong presentation and documented care will matter even more when it’s time to sell.

Is the 2015 Chrysler 200 safe?

The Chrysler 200 earns a Top Safety Pick rating from IIHS, and with the SafetyTec Package it earns a Top Safety Pick+ rating.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

The SafetyTec Package adds adaptive cruise control with stop and go, frontal-collision warning, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot and cross-traffic detection, rain-sensing wipers, automatic high-beam headlights, and a self-parking system. Several of those features are limited to the 200C, while blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert is also available on the 200S.

Should I buy a 2015 Chrysler 200 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 26.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 55.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.63% compared with last year.
• The 2015 stands out for its strong overall success as a stylish, upscale-feeling family sedan.

The bottom line: If you want the most polished version of this sedan’s design and feature set, the 2015 is the one to focus on. If you’re mainly chasing the lowest possible price, you can still shop this year confidently, but you should be especially selective about condition, accident history, and trim level so you don’t give up too much of the car’s appeal.
