Used 2015 Cadillac CTS for Sale nearLos Angeles, CA

How much does the 2015 Cadillac CTS cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 300 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2015 Cadillac CTS a good car?

Yes — the 2015 Cadillac CTS earns a 4.5/5 user rating and a 7/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Safety.

Owners consistently praise its beautiful design, smooth ride, high-quality interior, and impressive technology. That lines up well with its midsize luxury sport sedan mission, especially if you want something that feels more distinctive and driver-focused than the usual commuter luxury sedan. There are also 32% good or great deals in the market, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2015 Cadillac CTS reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a car that many people enjoy living with, especially for its design, ride quality, and interior presentation. At the same time, some owners mention reliability concerns, particularly with the sunroof and engine performance, so you should pay close attention to those areas when evaluating a used example. The expert review also notes that Cadillac needs to prove faultlessly dependable over time, which reinforces the need for careful vetting.

If you’re buying used, a thorough pre-purchase inspection and service-history review matter more here than they would on a more proven mainstream sedan.

What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Cadillac CTS?

At 56.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle-history report and confirm whether any prior damage was repaired properly. Then prioritize a hands-on inspection of body panels, paint consistency, and any signs of poor repair work, especially if the car has been in a collision. It’s also smart to focus on the condition of the sunroof and the engine, since those are the reliability concerns owners mention most often.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base version misses equipment that appears on higher trims, including leather upholstery, a split-folding rear seat, and a reversing camera.
• Powertrain: The standard setup is a rear-wheel-drive, 8-speed automatic sport sedan, while the Vsport adds a twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter V6 with 420 horsepower and an electronic locking rear differential.
• Safety package: The Driver Awareness Package is standard on all models except the base version and includes a reversing camera, rain-sensing wipers, automatic high-beam headlights, blind-spot monitoring with lane-change alert and rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning with lane-keeping assist, and forward-collision warning. The Driver Assist Package requires Premium trim and adds adaptive cruise control, automatic front and rear braking, and automatic collision-preparation technology.
• Infotainment: Cadillac’s CUE system is the main tech interface, and the review notes that it relies on touch controls rather than knobs and buttons.
• Fuel efficiency: The Vsport returns an official EPA combined rating of 18 mpg.

Which 2015 Cadillac CTS trim should I buy?

The 2015 Cadillac CTS is offered in 2 trim levels: CTS and Premium.

Here's the short version:

• CTS: This is the entry point, but the review makes clear that it feels stripped relative to the price because it does not include leather upholstery, a split-folding rear seat, or a reversing camera. It makes sense only if you’re focused on getting into the CTS at the lowest possible price.
• Premium: This is the better choice if you want the CTS to feel like the luxury sedan it’s supposed to be. It unlocks the Driver Assist Package, which adds adaptive cruise control, automatic front and rear braking, and automatic collision-preparation technology, making it the smarter pick for most used buyers.

The Driver Awareness Package is standard on all models except the base version, while the Driver Assist Package comes standard on Premium trim level models.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Cadillac CTS?

This looks like a moderate, selective-buyer market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 32% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 300 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady with last year.
• Clean inventory: 56.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $11,969, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 Cadillac CTS's resale value?

The current average of $12,611 sits slightly above last year's $12,587.

That small increase suggests the market has been stable rather than volatile, which is usually a good sign for future resale predictability. If you buy well and keep the car in strong condition, you’re less likely to face a sharp value drop driven by sudden market swings. The bigger resale risk is condition and ownership history, not broad price movement.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2015 Cadillac CTS safe?

The 2015 Cadillac CTS earns a five-star overall rating from the federal government and a Good rating from the IIHS for the tests it has undergone.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Cadillac’s Driver Awareness Package is standard on all models except the base version and includes a reversing camera, rain-sensing wipers, automatic high-beam headlights, blind-spot monitoring with lane-change alert and rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning with lane-keeping assist, and forward-collision warning. The Driver Assist Package, which requires Premium trim, adds adaptive cruise control, automatic front and rear braking, and automatic collision-preparation technology including automatic seatbelt tightening.

One caveat is that the CTS has not been subjected to the IIHS small overlap frontal-impact crash test, so you should keep that in mind when comparing it with rivals.

Should I buy a 2015 Cadillac CTS or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 32% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 56.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2015 CTS is the first full expression of Cadillac’s third-generation formula, with a focused sport-sedan character and strong tech appeal.

Consider the 2016 if:

• At $13,080, the 2016 costs more than the current year's $12,611 average.
• It adds more power and more advanced technology.

The bottom line: If you want the better value, the 2015 is the smarter starting point because pricing is stable and the market still offers a meaningful share of good deals. If you’re willing to pay more for a newer version with added power and tech, the 2016 is the cleaner upgrade path.

How does the 2015 Cadillac CTS compare to the 2015 BMW 3 Series?

Our experts score the 2015 Cadillac CTS 7/10 and the 2015 BMW 3 Series 7.5/10.

The CTS brings stronger standard power and a more distinctive luxury-sport personality, while the BMW counters with better fuel economy and a lower average used price. The Cadillac also has a higher share of good and great deals, but the BMW has more listings and a slightly better overall expert score. If you want the more expressive car, the CTS has the edge; if you want the more efficient and broadly shopped option, the 3 Series is the safer bet.
