Summary
With 293 currently listed for sale and an average price of $10,641, 28.3% of 2015 Buick LaCrosse listings on CarGurus are rated as good or great deals.
Favorably reviewed: Owners rated the 2015 Buick LaCrosse 4.14 / 5 stars.

Why it stands out
The 2015 Buick LaCrosse stands out as a roomy, quiet, and comfortable traditional sedan with a distinctly upscale feel for the money. It was part of the LaCrosse’s second generation, which brought curvaceous styling, a clean exterior, and a chassis shared with the Cadillac XTS and the Saab 9-5. Buick also gave it HiPer Strut front suspension to help reduce torque steer, and the model’s focus on comfort was reinforced by the brand’s QuietTuning approach, which emphasized extra sound absorption, insulation, and thicker seals.
For 2015, Buick added 4G LTE connectivity and Wi-Fi, along with a backup camera, adjustable headrests, and Apple Siri Eyes Free. That makes this LaCrosse appealing to buyers who want a more modern-feeling used sedan without giving up the soft ride and plush character Buick is known for. It also offers practical strengths such as a larger trunk and more rear-seat room than earlier versions of the car. At the same time, it is not a sporty choice, and the source notes that the early generations were gas guzzlers and that the styling was not a strong point.

How much does the 2015 Buick LaCrosse cost?
| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Current Average Price | $10,716 |
| Year-Round Low | $10,644 |
| Year-Round High | $12,177 |
| Average Price a Year Ago | $12,182 |
| Change vs. Last Year | −12.04% |
Prices have softened 12.04% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.
There are 279 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.
Is the 2015 Buick LaCrosse a good car?
Generally — the 4.1/5 user rating points to solid owner satisfaction for this model year. Drivers most often praise the smooth ride, comfort, and powerful V6, and the LaCrosse’s roomy, quiet, upscale character fits well if you want a traditional sedan with a more premium feel. The overview also highlights practical strengths like a larger trunk and more rear-seat room, which makes it appealing if comfort and everyday usability matter more to you than sporty handling. With 27.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.
Is the 2015 Buick LaCrosse reliable?
Owners rate it 4.1/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.
The user feedback also points to reliability and a dependable ownership experience, with drivers specifically calling out the car’s reliability alongside its comfort and strong V6. That said, some owners mention occasional performance hiccups, so a careful test drive matters. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is ending up with a car that has been maintained inconsistently or shows signs of those reported drivability issues.
What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Buick LaCrosse?
At 53% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with prior damage. After that, put the inspection focus on body condition, panel alignment, and signs of repair quality, since accident history can affect long-term value and confidence. During the test drive, pay close attention to ride quality, braking, and any hesitation or jerking so you can judge whether the car feels as smooth as it should.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Buick LaCrosse?
This is a moderate market, so you can shop selectively without expecting a deep buyer’s market.
- Deal availability: 27.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Inventory: There are 279 listings available.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 12.04% compared with last year.
- Clean inventory: 53.0% of listings are accident-free.
If you find a listing below $10,644, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.
What is the 2015 Buick LaCrosse's resale value?
The current average of $10,716 sits slightly below last year's $12,182.
That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make future resale a little more challenging if prices keep easing. If you buy now, your best resale outcome will usually come from choosing a clean, well-kept example with strong documentation and avoiding cars with accident history. A lower purchase price can help cushion depreciation, especially if you plan to keep the car for several years.
Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.1/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.
Should I buy a 2015 Buick LaCrosse or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2015 if:
- 27.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- At 53% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 12.04% compared with last year.
- Owners rate it 4.1/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
Consider the 2014 if:
- At $10,917, the 2014 costs more than the current year's $10,716 average.
- It emphasizes calm, composed road manners and an upscale feel.
The bottom line: The 2015 is the better primary target if you want the strongest mix of price, satisfaction, and current market flexibility. If you are especially price-sensitive, compare carefully against the 2014, but the 2015’s lower average price and softer market make it the more compelling starting point.
