At 56.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any reported damage was repaired properly. If a listing looks especially clean, make sure the condition matches the price before you commit.

What is the 2015 Acura RDX's resale value?

The current average of $12,538 sits slightly below last year's $12,905.

That softer pricing suggests the model is currently more buyer-friendly than seller-friendly, which can make resale timing more important if you plan to trade in soon. Demand should also benefit from the model's strong owner satisfaction and practical premium appeal.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2015 Acura RDX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 35.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 56.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.84% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2016 if:

• At $14,399, the 2016 costs more than the current year's $12,538 average.
• It brings a broader update with improved powertrain, safety, and infotainment.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2015 if you want the better value and are comfortable shopping carefully for condition and history. If you can stretch your budget and want the newer update, the 2016 is the better secondary path for buyers who prioritize freshened tech and mechanical improvements.
