Why it stands out
The 2014 Subaru Outback is highly regarded for its reliability, safety features, and all-wheel drive capability, which makes it an excellent choice for various driving conditions. Many owners appreciate its handling and long-term durability, highlighting its solid performance, especially in adverse weather. The Outback's design is both practical and spacious, providing ample room for passengers and cargo alike. However, some users noted that compared to other vehicles, it lacks luxury features, and the manual transmission can feel somewhat less precise, which are important considerations for potential buyers. The 2014 model stands out due to its improved standard equipment and a reputation for longevity, making it a great value for those seeking a capable vehicle.

The owner is very forthcoming with information about the vehicle, and make test driving it as easy as possible. The car appears to be in good shape and is being offered at a good price. It steers, corners, accelerates, and brakes well, as long as you are familiar with stick shift. However, I did not find the sweet spot in the manual transmission in my test drive that the owner refers to in the ad. It felt a bit more loosely coupled than I expected, given this. Still, it seems to be a good car.

I have a 2014 2.5i manual transmission And I absolutely love it. It has more power than I thought and I average about 30 -33 miles to the gallon on the highway. I can’t say enough about this car. I feel safe and I love the suspension and how it drives. I got this car specifically to take on long trips to the mountains. I’ve been in the process of researching camper conversion kits for the Outback. So far it’s ability to navigate over rough terrain is awesome. The biggest feature for me was the manual transmission that is only about $1200 to fix vs. a CVT auto transmission upwards of 6000. The radio is somewhat outdated but I can overlook that based on the value and other features of this car

This car had exactly what I wanted in a Subaru Outback. Dual environmental control, sun roof, Harmon Kardon sound system. I finally found an Outback I could afford.
