How much does the 2014 Subaru Crosstrek cost?

Prices have softened 3.47% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,022 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2014 Subaru Crosstrek a good car?

Generally — the 2014 Subaru Crosstrek earns a 4.2/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its comfort, snow performance, and user-friendly features like navigation and AWD. It also fits well if you want a compact crossover that is easy to live with for road trips and urban driving. With 32.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2014 Subaru Crosstrek reliable?

Owners rate it 4.2/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback highlights a dependable, trouble-free feel in everyday use, especially for drivers who value all-weather confidence and a vehicle they can count on. That said, used buyers should still pay close attention to maintenance history and overall condition, since long-term ownership risk rises when prior damage or poor upkeep is part of the picture.

What should I look for when buying a used 2014 Subaru Crosstrek?

At 60.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection so you can catch hidden body, suspension, or drivetrain issues. Focus on condition first, especially if the listing price looks attractive, because prior damage can affect both reliability and resale value.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Subaru Crosstrek?

This is a moderate market, so you can shop selectively without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 32.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,022 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.47% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 60.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $10,236, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Subaru Crosstrek's resale value?

The current average of $10,354 sits slightly below last year's $10,726.

That softer pricing suggests the model has already absorbed some depreciation, which can help future sellers if they buy at the right price today. If you keep the vehicle in good condition and avoid examples with accident history, you may have a better chance of holding value relative to the broader market. Demand should remain supported by the Crosstrek’s practical size and all-weather appeal.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.2/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Subaru Crosstrek or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 32.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 60.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.47% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.2/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a compact crossover with strong owner approval, useful all-weather capability, and a price that has eased from last year, the 2014 is a sensible place to start. If you are especially price-sensitive, you can also keep nearby years in play and compare condition, accident history, and asking price closely before deciding.
