How much does the 2014 Porsche Cayenne cost?

There are 310 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2014 Porsche Cayenne a good car?

Yes — 4.62/5 is a strong user rating, and owners consistently praise the performance, handling, and joy-to-drive character. The review summary also points to the powerful V8 engine and sports car-like handling as standout strengths, while noting that owners generally have little to complain about. With 29.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2014 Porsche Cayenne reliable?

Owners rate it 4.62/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The review summary also points to dependable ownership, with owners describing the vehicle in terms that suggest it is reliable and trouble-free over time. That lines up with the broader impression of sturdy construction and strong build quality. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about satisfaction and more about making sure the specific vehicle has been maintained properly.

What should I look for when buying a used 2014 Porsche Cayenne?

At 66.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with prior damage. After that, prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on bodywork quality, signs of repair, and overall condition. Because this model can carry expensive maintenance, you should pay close attention to how well the vehicle has been cared for rather than relying on appearance alone.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Porsche Cayenne?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 29.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 310 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.73% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 66.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $15,787, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Porsche Cayenne's resale value?

The current average of $15,832 sits slightly below last year's $16,618.

That softer pricing suggests the market has moved in buyers’ favor, which can make resale timing more important if you plan to sell later. If values continue to ease, you may not see rapid appreciation from ownership alone. On the other hand, a well-kept example with strong presentation and documented care should still attract interest from shoppers who want a performance-oriented luxury SUV.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.62/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Porsche Cayenne or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 29.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 66.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.73% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.62/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the Cayenne experience at a more approachable price, the 2014 is the primary path to consider because it combines strong owner satisfaction with softer pricing and a decent pool of listings. If you are especially price-sensitive, you should still compare nearby years and focus on the cleanest, best-documented example rather than chasing the lowest sticker price alone.
