How much does the 2014 Nissan Murano cost?

There are 653 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2014 Nissan Murano a good car?

Yes — the 2014 Nissan Murano earns a 4.75/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its reliability, comfort, and value for money, and many also call out the smooth ride and good handling. That makes it a sensible fit if you want a midsize SUV that leans more toward comfort and everyday drivability than flash. With 34.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitively priced example.

Is the 2014 Nissan Murano reliable?

Owners rate it 4.75/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also emphasizes reliability, along with comfort and value, which suggests this model has earned trust from people living with it over time. For used buyers, that usually means lower ownership anxiety if the vehicle has been maintained well and the CVT has been cared for properly.

What should I look for when buying a used 2014 Nissan Murano?

At 57.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with past damage or repeated claims. After that, prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, with extra attention to the transmission, suspension feel, and overall maintenance condition. Because this model is valued for comfort and smooth driving, a careful test drive should focus on ride quality, steering feel, and any signs that the vehicle has been neglected.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Nissan Murano?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 34.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 653 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.06% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 57.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $7,506, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Nissan Murano's resale value?

The current average of $7,506 sits slightly below last year's $8,535.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make resale a little more challenging if you buy at the wrong price. If you plan to sell later, your best protection is to buy well, keep mileage and condition in check, and choose a clean-history example. A well-kept Murano should still appeal to shoppers who want comfort and a smooth ride in a midsize SUV.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.75/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Nissan Murano or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 34.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 57.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.06% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.75/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line:

If you want the Murano’s comfort, smooth ride, and strong owner approval at a lower entry price, the 2014 is a solid place to focus. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a cleaner or better-equipped example is available for only a small premium.
