Used 2014 MINI Countryman for Sale near Massachusetts

How much does the 2014 MINI Countryman cost?

Prices have softened 6.20% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 370 listings available, which suggests you have a modest amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2014 MINI Countryman a good car?

Generally — the 2014 MINI Countryman earns a 4.33/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its fun driving experience, nimble handling, and stylish design, and they also like the surprisingly spacious interior for a small SUV. That makes it a good fit if you want something more practical than MINI’s smaller cars without losing the brand’s personality. With 30.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2014 MINI Countryman reliable?

Owners rate it 4.33/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback points to a dependable ownership experience, with owners highlighting the car’s trouble-free feel, long-term appeal, and the confidence it inspires over time. That said, some drivers mention a harsh ride and a few feature-related wishes, so you should still judge each used example on condition and maintenance history. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is buying a neglected example rather than one that has been cared for properly.

What should I look for when buying a used 2014 MINI Countryman?

At 67.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection so you can catch hidden body, suspension, or repair-quality issues. Focus closely on overall condition, since accident history can affect both reliability and resale value even when a car looks clean at first glance. It also helps to compare service records and wear items across listings so you can separate a well-kept example from one that has simply been cleaned up for sale.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 MINI Countryman?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 30.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 370 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.20% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 67.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $8,029, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 MINI Countryman's resale value?

The current average of $8,087 sits slightly below last year's $8,622.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the car easier to buy now but may also limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you purchase at a strong price and keep the car in good condition, you may be better positioned than someone who buys at the top of the range. The model’s distinctive styling and strong owner satisfaction can help support demand, but resale will still depend heavily on condition, mileage, and history.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.33/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 MINI Countryman or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 30.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 67.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.20% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.33/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2014 is a smart choice if you want the Countryman’s style, personality, and practical small-SUV packaging at a softened price point. If you’re especially price-sensitive, the current market gives you a decent chance to find a strong deal, but you should be selective about history and condition. If you want the best balance of value and confidence, focus on the cleanest, best-documented example you can find rather than chasing the cheapest listing.
