Used 2014 Land Rover Range Rover Sport for Sale near Illinois

How much does the 2014 Land Rover Range Rover Sport cost?

Prices have softened 13.53% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 389 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of used examples to compare.

Is the 2014 Land Rover Range Rover Sport a good car?

Yes — the 4.8/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction, and the overview shows a luxury SUV that combines serious off-road credibility with high-end comfort. It also highlights meaningful second-generation improvements in handling, ride quality, and interior space, which makes it appealing if you want a premium SUV that can handle rough weather and terrain without giving up everyday comfort. The market also shows 33.2% of listings as good or great deals, which adds some shopping flexibility.

Is the 2014 Land Rover Range Rover Sport reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview also makes clear that this is a costly SUV to own, with reliability, service costs, and fuel consumption working against it even when the driving experience is strong. For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk is less about basic appeal and more about whether you’re prepared for higher upkeep and careful maintenance.

What should I look for when buying a used 2014 Land Rover Range Rover Sport?

At 62.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can screen for accident records, title issues, and major repairs before you get too far into the process. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially for signs of wear that could affect a luxury SUV with higher ownership costs. Focus on overall condition, maintenance documentation, and how well the vehicle has been cared for, since those factors matter a lot on a used model like this.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Land Rover Range Rover Sport?

This looks like a moderate market where selective buyers can still find value if they shop carefully.

• Deal availability: 33.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 389 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.53% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 62.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $12,801, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Land Rover Range Rover Sport's resale value?

The current average of $12,827 sits slightly below last year's $14,835.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make future resale gains harder to count on unless you buy well and keep the vehicle in excellent condition. For a future seller, the upside will depend heavily on maintenance history, mileage, and how clean the vehicle is when it comes time to list it. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Land Rover Range Rover Sport or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 33.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 62.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.53% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2014 if you want the strongest value balance between price, availability, and owner satisfaction in this group. If you’re especially price-sensitive, a nearby year may still be worth comparing, but the 2014 already gives you a softer market and a broad enough listing pool to shop selectively.
