How much does the 2014 INFINITI QX80 cost?

Is the 2014 INFINITI QX80 a good car?

Yes — owners rate it 4.7/5, which points to strong overall satisfaction. Reviewers consistently praise its smooth ride, powerful performance, and advanced technology features, and they also like the luxurious interior and safety options. For you, that makes it a strong fit if you want a full-size luxury SUV with serious capability, a well-equipped cabin, and broad utility. With 30.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2014 INFINITI QX80 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.7/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The review summary also points to a dependable ownership experience, with owners describing the SUV as smooth, powerful, and satisfying over time. That said, its size and fuel economy come up as recurring concerns, so your long-term ownership risk is less about basic satisfaction and more about whether you can live with the running costs and bulk.

What should I look for when buying a used 2014 INFINITI QX80?

At 50.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from those with prior damage. After that, prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on body condition, signs of repair, and how the SUV drives and feels at low speeds and on the highway. Because this is a large luxury SUV, you should pay close attention to overall condition, since wear and repair quality matter more when you are buying a vehicle of this size and complexity.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 INFINITI QX80?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 30.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 176 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.41% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 50.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $10,770, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 INFINITI QX80's resale value?

The current average of $10,956 sits slightly below last year's $12,230.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make future resale more sensitive to condition, mileage, and maintenance history. If you buy well and keep the SUV in strong shape, you may be better positioned than a seller who paid closer to the prior-year average. The current pricing also means your entry cost is lower than it was a year ago, which can help cushion depreciation if you plan to own it for a while.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 INFINITI QX80 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 30.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 50.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.41% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should start with the 2014 if you want a full-size luxury SUV with strong owner satisfaction and a softer used-car price than it had a year ago. If your priority is maximizing value and you are willing to compare closely across nearby years, a different year may give you a better mix of condition, price, and inventory. For most shoppers, though, the 2014 is the better starting point if you want the strongest combination of satisfaction and current market softness.
