Should I buy a 2014 Ford F-150 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 28.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 66.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.71% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.43/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2015 if:

• At $17,714, the 2015 costs more than the current year's $15,117 average.
• It adds aluminum body construction and turbocharged power.

The bottom line: If you want the better value today, the 2014 is the stronger starting point because it combines lower pricing with solid owner satisfaction. If you’re willing to pay more for a newer-feeling redesign and can stretch your budget, the 2015 is the better secondary path.
