Used 2014 Ford Expedition for Sale nearNew Orleans, LA

How much does the 2014 Ford Expedition cost?

Prices have softened 4.02% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 463 listings available, which gives you a solid pool to compare prices and conditions.

Is the 2014 Ford Expedition a good car?

Yes — the 4.9/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its spaciousness, value for money, strong performance, and comfort, and many also like it for long-trip use. For you, that means it fits especially well if you want a full-size SUV that can handle family hauling, cargo, and road-trip duty. With 30.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2014 Ford Expedition reliable?

Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also emphasizes reliability, dependability, and trouble-free use, especially for long trips. That said, some shoppers mention high-mileage examples and older units with more wear, so your long-term ownership risk depends heavily on maintenance history and condition.

What should I look for when buying a used 2014 Ford Expedition?

At 63.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection from a trusted mechanic. Focus on signs of wear that matter most on a large SUV: suspension condition, interior wear, and evidence of heavy use or deferred maintenance. If a listing has higher mileage, make sure the service history supports the asking price.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Ford Expedition?

This is a moderate market, so you can buy now if the right listing checks your boxes, but you should still compare carefully.

• Deal availability: 30.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 463 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.02% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 63.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $10,058, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Ford Expedition's resale value?

The current average of $10,277 sits slightly below last year's $10,707.

That softer pricing suggests the market has moved a bit in buyers' favor, which can make future resale a little more challenging if you overpay today. If you buy well and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you can help protect your exit value later. Demand should remain steadier for clean, well-kept examples with strong ownership history.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Ford Expedition or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 30.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 63.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.02% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2015 if:

• At $11,412, the 2015 costs more than the current year's $10,277 average.
• It switches to a more fuel-efficient EcoBoost V6.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2014 if you want the lower entry price and strong owner satisfaction. If you can spend more and want the newer powertrain direction, the 2015 is the better secondary path for buyers who value that update.
