Why it stands out
The 2014 Dodge Durango emerges as a distinctive choice in the midsize SUV segment, appealing to families and adventure seekers alike. The SUV offers a powerful 3.6-liter V6 engine generating 290 horsepower, alongside an optional 5.7-liter V8 for those seeking more power. Excellent towing capabilities, with a rating up to 7,400 pounds when equipped with the V8, make the Durango practical for outdoor excursions. Inside, the Durango boasts a comfortable and upscale cabin, especially in trims like the Citadel, where premium materials and advanced technology such as the Uconnect infotainment system provide a luxurious feel. Bought new, and luv my Durango, 206k miles later. No major repairs needed until recently. Has the famous Dodge Ticking sound, lifters need replacing I’m told. And transfer case needs replacing, because truck gears grind or something during takeoff if accelerating too fast. Besides those two things, can’t think of anything besides Normal wear and tear. 10 years later and I Still luv my Durango.

I would have to say this is the nicest SUV I have ever owned. Very comfortable to drive around town or on long trips. It gets very good mileage 20 city & up to 25 hwy with the 290 hp V6 and it will tow 6200 lbs with ease. It is loaded with safety features that are among the best around. So far I am very impressed with this Dodge Durango. I also considered a Ford Explorer and a few other SUV's but none could compare to the New Durango. Everyone who rides in it says the same thing Wow... what is this car? It is really nice. I have to agree!
