Is the 2014 Chrysler 300 a good car?

Owners consistently praise its luxury feel, power, and comfort, and many describe it as a great value for a luxury sedan. Is the 2014 Chrysler 300 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a car that feels dependable in everyday use, with praise centered on comfort, power, and the sense that it delivers a lot of car for the money. That kind of feedback matters if you want a used full-size sedan you can count on for regular driving. For long-term ownership, your biggest risk is less about the model’s appeal and more about finding one that has been maintained well and avoided heavy wear.

What should I look for when buying a used 2014 Chrysler 300?

At 50.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any prior damage was repaired properly. A pre-purchase inspection should be a priority, especially if the car has higher mileage or incomplete service records. Focus closely on overall condition, because the best used examples will stand out on maintenance history, cosmetic wear, and how well the car has been kept.

What is the 2014 Chrysler 300's resale value?

The current average of $10,064 sits slightly below last year's $10,120.

That small decline suggests the market has been fairly stable rather than sharply weakening. If you buy well and keep the car in strong condition, you should have a reasonable chance of preserving value relative to the segment. The model’s steady pricing also helps future sellers because it signals consistent buyer interest rather than a volatile market.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Chrysler 300 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 29.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 50.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2014 if you want a full-size sedan with strong owner approval, stable pricing, and enough inventory to shop carefully. If you are especially price-sensitive, you can still use the market’s deal share to target the best examples, but the main priority should be finding a clean, well-documented car rather than chasing the absolute lowest sticker.
