Is the 2014 Chrysler 300 a good car?

Yes — the 4.6/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its luxury feel, power, and comfort, and many highlight the Hemi engine and spacious cabin as standout strengths. For you, that makes it a compelling choice if you want a roomy full-size sedan with a premium presence and strong value for the money. With 26.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2014 Chrysler 300 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a car that feels dependable, with praise centered on its durable powertrains and comfortable, trouble-free ownership experience when maintained well. That lines up with the model’s reputation for long-term appeal, especially if you prioritize a sedan you can count on over time.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is tied less to the car’s basic character and more to how well the specific example has been maintained.

What should I look for when buying a used 2014 Chrysler 300?

At 54.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report on every candidate and pay close attention to any prior collision, title, or repair records. A pre-purchase inspection should focus on body condition, panel alignment, and signs of uneven wear or poor repairs. Because this car is often bought for comfort and value, you should also make sure the cabin, electronics, and overall condition match the asking price.

What is the 2014 Chrysler 300's resale value?

The current average of $10,297 sits slightly below last year's $10,349.

That small decline suggests the market has been fairly stable, which can help you plan a future sale without worrying about a sharp drop in value. If you buy well and keep the car in strong condition, you should be able to preserve more of its appeal when it is time to sell. The model’s broad owner appeal also helps support demand in the used market.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Chrysler 300 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 26.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 54.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line:

The 2014 is a strong pick if you want the classic Chrysler 300 formula: big-sedan presence, comfort, and value, with enough market stability to shop confidently. If you want the best balance of price and satisfaction, this year makes sense as a primary target. If you are especially price-sensitive, keep an eye on lower-mileage or cleaner-condition examples and be ready to move quickly when one appears below the low end of the range.
