How much does the 2014 Chevrolet Tahoe cost?

Prices have softened 3.01% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,025 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable number of options to compare.

Is the 2014 Chevrolet Tahoe a good car?

The 2014 Chevrolet Tahoe is a solid fit if you want a large SUV with straightforward capability and family-friendly space, and its user rating is 3.67/5. Owners commonly praise its strong engine, spacious interior, and usefulness for families and long trips, while the Tahoe’s roomy cabin and towing strength make it especially appealing if you need one vehicle to handle passengers and heavier-duty tasks. With 28.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market still offers some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2014 Chevrolet Tahoe reliable?

The 2014 Chevrolet Tahoe stands out as a full-size SUV that blends traditional truck-based capability with family-friendly utility. Owners describe it as strong and spacious, and the review summary also points to a simple, proven setup that many buyers can count on for everyday use and long trips. At the same time, some drivers mention occasional transmission issues, so a careful pre-purchase inspection matters if you want to reduce long-term ownership risk.

What should I look for when buying a used 2014 Chevrolet Tahoe?

At 58.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report on any Tahoe you’re seriously considering and confirm whether prior damage was repaired properly. A pre-purchase inspection should focus on the transmission, body condition, and signs of wear that could affect a large SUV used for family hauling or towing. Because this model’s appeal depends heavily on condition, it’s worth prioritizing clean, well-documented examples over the cheapest listing.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Chevrolet Tahoe?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly when a strong listing appears.

• Deal availability: 28.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,025 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.01% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 58.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $12,202, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Chevrolet Tahoe's resale value?

The current average of $12,471 sits slightly below last year's $12,858.

That price movement suggests the Tahoe has softened a bit in the used market, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend more on condition, mileage, and documentation than on model-year scarcity alone. If you keep the truck in clean shape and maintain service records, you’ll be better positioned to stand out when it’s time to sell.

Should I buy a 2014 Chevrolet Tahoe or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 28.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 58.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.01% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2014 Tahoe makes sense if you want the simpler, proven version of this full-size SUV and you find a clean example at a fair price. If you’re especially price-sensitive, keep shopping the broader market and compare nearby years, but prioritize condition and history over chasing the lowest sticker.
