The same reviews highlight comfort and solid build quality, which can support confidence over longer ownership. Even so, used buyers should plan for careful maintenance checks so long-term ownership risk stays manageable.

What should I look for when buying a used 2014 Audi Q5?

At 60.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any prior damage was repaired properly. A pre-purchase inspection should focus on bodywork quality, alignment, and signs of uneven wear or repair. It also makes sense to prioritize overall condition, since the best examples are likely to be the ones that have been maintained consistently and avoided major incident history.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Audi Q5?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 35.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 685 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.70% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $9,698, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Audi Q5's resale value?

The current average of $9,698 sits slightly below last year's $10,622.

That price movement suggests the market has become more favorable for buyers, but it also means future sellers may need to price competitively to stand out. If you buy well now and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you may be better positioned when it is time to resell. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.64/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Audi Q5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 35.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 60.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.70% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.64/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should focus on the 2014 if you want a well-equipped, premium-feeling Q5 and you can verify condition carefully before buying. If your priority is maximizing value, the 2014 is appealing because prices have eased and deal availability is solid; if you want the broadest selection of cleaner-history examples, it is worth comparing nearby years as well.
