Is the 2014 Audi A6 a good car?

Yes — owners rate it 5/5, which points to strong overall satisfaction. The review summary also describes it as durable and reliable, with owners calling out its strong power and performance alongside that dependable character. What should I look for when buying a used 2014 Audi A6?

At 61.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with past damage. After that, prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on cars with higher mileage or incomplete service records. Focus your attention on overall condition, signs of prior repair quality, and whether the car’s premium features and driving feel still match the asking price.

What is the 2014 Audi A6's resale value?

The current average of $10,627 sits slightly below last year's $11,395.

That price movement suggests the model has softened enough to create a more buyer-friendly entry point today, but it also means future sellers may need to price competitively to stand out. If you buy well now and keep the car in strong condition, you may be better positioned when it comes time to resell. A clean history and strong maintenance record should matter more to future shoppers in a market like this.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Audi A6 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 29.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 61.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.75% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the better value play, the 2014 is the year to target because it combines a lower average price with strong owner satisfaction and a decent share of deal-priced listings. If you are especially price-sensitive, focus on the cleanest examples first and be willing to compare against nearby years only if they offer a meaningfully better condition or history profile.
