Used 2014 Acura TL for Sale near Virginia

How much does the 2014 Acura TL cost?

Prices are up 3.42% year-over-year — a sign of continued demand for this model year.

There are 126 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2014 Acura TL a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. The 2014 Acura TL stands out as the larger, more mature, and more powerful sibling in Acura’s lineup, and it was positioned as a premium sport sedan with a choice of two engines, giving you a clear split between efficiency and stronger performance. It also offered a well-equipped cabin for its era, with features such as four-wheel steering, dual-zone automatic climate control, heated power front seats, and available navigation and premium audio. With 27.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2014 Acura TL reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2014 Acura TL has a mixed reliability story in the sense that it combines appealing hardware and equipment with some known drawbacks. The V6 model’s nine-speed automatic transmission would later prove troublesome, so you should pay close attention to service history and how the car drives. For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk is more about condition, maintenance, and drivetrain choice than the car’s overall concept.

What should I look for when buying a used 2014 Acura TL?

At 48.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any prior damage was repaired properly. A pre-purchase inspection should focus on the transmission behavior, overall mechanical condition, and signs of uneven wear or poor-quality repairs. Because the TL was offered with a range of equipment and powertrains, you should also make sure the specific car you’re considering matches the condition and features you expect.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Acura TL?

This is a seller’s market, so you should act selectively and be ready to move when you find the right car.

• Deal availability: 27.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 126 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices are up 3.42% year-over-year.
• Clean inventory: 48.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $10,861, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Acura TL's resale value?

The current average of $12,243 sits slightly above last year's $11,838.

That upward move suggests the market has been willing to pay a bit more for this model year, which can help support resale value if you buy well and keep the car in strong condition. The relatively tight spread between the year-round low and high also suggests pricing can move quickly when a clean example appears. If you plan to sell later, a well-documented car with desirable equipment and no accident history should be easier to position competitively.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Acura TL or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 27.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 48.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices are up 3.42% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the TL’s combination of strong available performance, a generous feature set, and distinctive hardware, the 2014 is the right year to target. If you’re more price-sensitive, you should focus on the cleanest, best-documented example you can find rather than chasing the cheapest listing, since condition and history matter a lot in this market.
