There are 582 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2014 Acura RDX a good car?

Yes — the 2014 Acura RDX earns a 4.5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners commonly praise its comfortable ride, impressive acceleration, and value for money, and many also appreciate the modern features. In practical terms, that makes it a good fit if you want a premium-feeling crossover with everyday usefulness and a more family-friendly character. Is the 2014 Acura RDX reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback also highlights reliability, with owners describing it as dependable and a vehicle they can count on over time. That kind of praise matters for used buyers because it suggests the ownership experience has been trouble-free enough to build confidence. For you, the main long-term risk is less about the model’s reputation and more about choosing a well-kept example with clean history and consistent maintenance.

What should I look for when buying a used 2014 Acura RDX?

At 54.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection so you can confirm the condition matches the listing. Pay close attention to bodywork, panel alignment, and signs of prior repair, since accident history can affect both value and long-term ownership confidence. It also makes sense to focus on the cabin, electronics, and visibility-related concerns so you know exactly what you’re buying.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Acura RDX?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 582 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.76% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 54.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $11,417, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Acura RDX's resale value?

The current average of $11,582 sits slightly below last year's $12,035.

That softer pricing suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point. If you plan to sell later, the current trend means your future resale value will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle is documented. A clean history and strong maintenance records should matter more when the market is already pricing in some depreciation.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Acura RDX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 54.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.76% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, owner satisfaction, and available inventory, the 2014 is a sensible place to start. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare it with nearby years and focus on whichever one gives you the cleanest history and strongest condition at the lowest out-the-door cost.
