Performance is great. Build quality is pretty good, some rattles and signal is kinda funk. The exterior is great, sporty but not too attention grabbing. Interior is very clean and classy, but the sound system is a joke. Gas mileage is below avg, maintenance is good. Most fun I've had driving a car!

Trying something different after 17 years of driving Chevy pickups. As a rally fan I've always admired the Imprezas, but until the controversial 2008 redesign, I really didn't *want* one. When power was upped to respectable levels in 2009 without a respective jump in MSRP, I put it on my short list. Finally picked up a 2010 in December of '09. One of the few compact cars I can fit in comfortably (6'4", 225 lbs). It has more legroom than my 2005 Silverado, and nearly as much headroom. It's not much to look at, the interior is pretty barebones, but it is roomy and it will rip your face off on boost. Seriously, nothing that costs $25K new has any business being this fast. It's a well screwed together, practical car that will hand just about anything else on the road its ass, especially in lousy weather.

It's an amazing car. The car is valued at a great price. It's only missing a suspension upgrade, however it's current suspension should last some time. I would compare it to a 2019 or 2020 in terms of milage and quality.
