The Ram 1500 Sport was produced until 2018. Available in regular, quad or crew cabs with a standard or short bed, buyers could choose two- or four-wheel drive. The Sport trim featured a standard 3.6-liter V6, although a V8 and a diesel were also options. An eight-speed automatic with paddle shifters put power to the pavement. The Ram 1500 is lauded for its smooth ride quality thanks to its coil spring rear suspension and optional air suspension. When properly equipped the Sport could tow 10,420 pounds. In 2019 the Sport was axed in the United States and was only available in Canada.
