Used 2009 MINI Cooper S Convertible for Sale near Lexington, KY

I was so excited to get my mini convertible! It was everything I had been looking for in a car and I really loved everything about it. Then, after a year, the honeymoon was definitely over. Long story short... Mpg plummeted, it breaks down every 3 months and I had to buy the extended warranty to keep up (but there is a deductible every time you bring it in!). In the past two years I have spent over $4000 in repairs and maintenance (with warranty!). It depreciated so much that I owe $10,000 more than the blue book values it at (and I bought it for below blue book!) so I can't unload it. It is still very cute and I get a lot of compliments but I tell people to run. Is a rolling money pit death trap.

We liked everything about it. It's just a cool car and fun to drive. Love to drive it on a cold day with the seat warmers on. We get lots of thumbs up driving around town. Most importantly, my wife LOVES it.

I would buy another MINI in a moment. Makes driving pleasurable, lots of complements, great value overall. It provides handling not know in an inexpensive compact. Dealer are fairly good -but would recommend local service instead. Spend a few bucks customizing - it's fun.

The handling is great, especially when you push the "sport" button. It tightens up the handling so it respond more better. Not good for transporting people in back seats unless the are small. Small cargo space in trunk but we took the dog
