I love an All-Wheel-Drive. The Subaru has symetrical AWD, equal drive to all wheels. There's nothing like getting into a slide on a loose or muddy road and having the confidence to drive through the situation without losing control. With the high safety rating that Subaru have earned, I feel confident to put my family in this car and know they will be as safe as they can be. Pros: AWD, love it. Subaru reliability. Resale value. Three mode auto trans, Auto - Sport Auto - Sport Manual . 8.6L/100Km ave. The 2.5L boxer 4cyl motor can be very spritley when you give it the ask and use the auto to full capability. Very comfortable seats. Ergonomics are excellent. everything is at your fingertips. Looks great (well, we think so!). Reasonable load space for a car of this size. Cons: Not that good for towing (surprisingly). No low range with the auto. Has had a small rattle in the drivers door and a squeek in the drivers seat since we bought it. Cruise control could be more precise. The 2.5L boxer engine is tuned for long life, not performance; With the auto, it can be a slug at times. Overall: It's a nice drive. Nothing too outrageous or to boring. It's a car that is built for a purpose and it fulfills it's purpose perfectly.

It is a great car, especially if you really need a wagon. It is a perfect size. Very roomy without being a bulky SUV. The AWD is fantastic, this is a great all-weather car. Makes sense why this a such a common car in New England.

First I was sceptical about getting an Outback, but once I got it I love it. It is very spacious, when it comes to performace the four cilynder engine does it's job, it is powerful. Build quality is very nice, better then my previous cars that I owned, I like the way it look inside and Outside. I tried my on ice, snow, sand, dirt, and the handling is very good due to symmetrical All Wheel Drive. My gas milage is great, from the whole tank I can get about 300-320 miles. I get city 20-21 mpg/g and highway 25-26 mpg/g. And my average is 22.6-23.5 mpg/g. When it comes to maintanance Subarus are build to live.

This is the car that does everything it is supposed to do . This is one up from the base and still has heated seats, mirrors and wipers. And in the Inland Northwest these are true attributes. Great gas mileage in lieu of power. Althoug h it is a Jelly bean in the northwest, but that's because it does what it was designed to do .

awesome all season vehicle, I traded a 2000 chev corvette looking for a reliable comfortable car that performs well in all circumstances. awd is the best thing to have on any car that offers it stand. or optional. Comfortable/styleish
