Performance - The acceleration is great, goes fast! Build Quality - Its a great body no sqeeks or rattle Appearence - its great on the inside and exterior is sleek Cost of Ownership - gets 32.5 to the gallon, maintenance is simple. Fun factor - This car is great to drive!

I have had my Pontiac G6 (base, V6, 17' stock wheels) for two years now. There have been no unexpected repairs besides the intermediate shaft in the steering column (very common, is annoying, but doesn't need to be fixed.) Power is available at pretty much any time. Gas mileage has been about 19 observed, which I am OK with. My major gripe is that the trip and service computer is displayed thru the radio so I cannot easily upgrade the stereo. Overall I am happy with the vehicle, and it would be a great first car.

Well as for performance, it is relatively quick for a four cylinder(there is for room for improvement to be added later). I bought it for gas mileage at the time I got it, so I did not expect much. As for build quality, it is a great car with good fit, no squeaks or rattles have developed yet. As for overall looks I like it inside and out, but would love it more if I opted for the metallic black. Right now this cars cost of ownership is low, great gas mileage and low maintenance costs. The car is great fun to drive, I love the sound of the engine, the sound system(factory by the way) and the seats are great, they really hold you in well. As for recommending this car to a friend, yes I would, but I would recommend the bigger engines if they want a little more power and are not just looking for a car that is easy on gas.

Sadly GM has dropped pontiac these days but im lucky to have one of their best models ever made. my 08 G6 is an all around beauty. Fast, Great MPG, Amazing looking, Does great in the snow all around, its by far the best car ive had for an all around fun, fast, and reliable car. she's my baby! oh and all you 99 v6 mustang owners as much as i respect you all my pontiac ive found out does win off the line :)

Performance: Acceleration and handling is great; braking feels a little heavy, but still good. Build Quality: I do have a squeezy wheel and trying to get it under sprayed to see if that helps. Appearance: I love black, but there is a white film that I cannot get rid of in front of each rear wheel, plus because the hood slopes so low, it get's chipped very easily by stones. Cost of Ownership: I haven't had any maintenance other then usual oil change so far; gas isn't the greatest either Fun Factor: Love it!
