  If you want a fun and spirited car to drive around town - or on the highway, consider most any model of Mercedes SL. There may be some years they were not so great, but generally any model of SL will be fun to own and drive. The handling , performance, quality of construction, etc. has made this car a long time winner for Mercedes. There are a few downsides though. If you buy one new - you will get absolutely clobbered on depreciation the first several years. My advice is to consider one that is 5 to 7 years in age. Many of these cars only get about 5k or less of miles per year so a 6 yr old car may well have less than 30k miles. In Mercedes terms - that is still a young car and you will be buying it at less than 40% of MSRP. The trade-off on really low mileage is likely to be a higher price. The other problem will be maintenance. They may not break often - but when they do - it will most likely be very expensive. Start now and build a good report with a trusted independent garage.

  There is not one negative thing I can say about this car. Not only beautiful, but a full blown race car as we'll. With a quick ecu tune you are the king of the highway. And the sound is most impressive.

  Pro On of the best cars I have ever owned. Performance, handling and breaking is truly amazing. I have received several compliments from strangers on how stylish the car is. Con Definitely not a family car. You will also spend more money on insurance and gas. If you would like a second car this is the car for you. I wouldn't recommend this to be your primary vehicle
