About 2008 Honda Odyssey
2008 Honda Odyssey test drive
overall

The Honda Odyssey excels among minivans with a versatile, high-quality interior and a refined ride.
Though the minivan segment was pioneered by Chrysler, Toyota and Honda fine-tuned the concept with the Sienna and Odyssey, respectively. The Honda Odyssey, in particular, has raised the bar for the minivan in many new ways. The 2008 Honda Odyssey is comfortable, extremely versatile, and offers safety and reliability—top priorities for families.
The Odyssey has been sold in America since 1994. In 2005, it was completely redesigned, and it enters 2008 with a mild facelift.

Spacious, great on hauling kids & equipment around town & awesome on long road trips! Handles really nice, comfortable and room for 8! Love the DVD, Navigation and stereo. Excellent air conditioning throughout vehicle; lots of storage in rear if seats are up or down!

I have had several mini vans and the Honda Odyssey is by far the best. The touring model has tons of options, many of which I have not learned to use because I am not that savy with technology. My family is able to travel with 7 passengers very comfortably for long road trips with plenty of room for us and storage. Gas mileage is average to above average on long trips. Acceleration is good. Did not have any repair costs other than basic maintenance expenses which were average. Overall we are very pleased and would recommend a Honda van.

This van doesn't drive like a minivan - it drives like a car! The handling is secure and responsive, especially when cornering. Braking is smooth and the Odyssey never feels like it is "getting away from me" and it doesn't feel "top- heavy" around corners! As for repairs? C'mon, it's a honda! oil change, yes, repairs, no! It feels as solid as the day I first drove it. On comfort, seven people fit with plenty of room with no teeth in kneecap feeling! What I love most is the versatility - I can easily hide the third row seats for plenty of storage room - and can also remove one or both middle row seats to have a true van to move large items! Best of all is how safe it feels! From power sliding doors to quick handling, there is nothing more I want from my Odyssey - except, maybe, the dvd entertainment system! That is next time! Would I recommend an Odyssey? You BETCHA! As I said at the beginning, I feel like I am driving a car, not a van! My Odyssey proves that minivans don't have to be boring - they can be fun on four wheels! I've been driving an Odyssey for over a year - it is the only minivan I found that feels safe and is as easy to drive as a sedan. When the family group outgrows the small seven seaters - this car is the absolute best!
