The 2007 Mitsubishi Galant represents the start of a new generation for this mid-sized sedan. An array of new options marks the changes, as well as the introduction of a new trim, the Ralliart. The lower-level trims come with the expected 4-cylinder engine, but new technology in that engine boosts fuel efficiency. The two higher-priced trims have a peppy V6, and their fuel economy is nothing to boast about. Air bags come standard on every level of the Galant, and all but the base model DE have ABS. It's a good-looking car, but nothing really that stands out, and it has a good safety rating.
