2007 Ford Focus ZX4 SES Review

“Overall I made a good choice for me.”

I LOVE my ford Focus SES. It's fast, great pickup and tight steering that let's me zoom up and down the bluffs and on all of the snaky roads here where I live. Very good gas mileage...I travel a lot. I don't like the plastic overhead closure. And I wish I had those foot legs in blue! (that was the next year)

The dealer stated that he would send someone to follow me to the PA title and tag shop so that they could retrieve the sewer tag I was using to drive the car to the title and tag shop. After we had settled on a price, I told him, via text, that I would like to ensure the title was successfully transferred to me before exchanging the money for the car. The dealer stated this was not fair to him, and that no dealer would do business this way. What he failed to understand is very few consumers would purchase a car from a dealer they don’t know, while not having the title or any legally binding documentation to represent that consumers ownership of the car. The dealer was disnmissive at this point, and showed extremely poor customer service attributes. Disappointed and would not return to this dealer for purchase of a vehicle again."

The muffler was spilling water because it was probably knocked loose by an impact, the driver side rear tire was making a faint wobbling sound like when you have a flat tire (probably from the same impact), the passenger side tail light had an open crack, and the car was having trouble starting. Also the bumper looked like a replacement. I made an offer for just $500 under their asking price and told them I would be paying cash, even after they saw everything that I saw and pointed out to them just to size them up and see how they responded, guess what? even then they wouldn't come off the price. ???!"
