This car (known as the XR4 down under) is all about F-U-N. No it's not the fastest motor on the road but it's a blast to drive, especially when the blacktop gets twisty and the handling takes over. It really comes alive when you push it, egging you on to go that little bit harder - it's 'silly grin' material...

Low cost, high fun yet practical when needed. Easily modded, loads of potential.

Actually, I own the S series, not the ST series, but because it isn't in the list I choose the one that has the most in common of the S. I have a Ford Fiesta S 1.6TDCI with 90HP and 204(!) torque. For those who want a semi-small car with a decent push in the back when accelerating, while doing easely 600KM with a gastank of 45 lts, it's a perfect buy!

Very quick car when can get power down, alot of torque low down and plenty of power

It's like a small terrier. Not the strongest or the fastest but it continuously tries to pick a fight with everything else. It's not the size of the dog in the fight but the size of the fight in the dog.
