I've had problems with the thermostat housing cracking. The v6's aren't very reliable with the transmission. Get a V8. Same engine and tranny as a f150. Good car, but try if you can, and get an older Expedition. They are a lot more reliable.

Gas consumption is alot as it is a 4.0 litre...but living in UAE makes that not a problem as gas is so cheap! 1 Gallon is around 90pence! £14 fills up the tank! Fan is playing up a bit behind drivers steering wheel...makes small noise..left rear indicator gave out after 1 year. Very sturdy car indeed though. Electric seats and windows and wings makes it luxurious for us...we love that is so easy to drive...it's automatic also which we prefer. 7 seats and big boot. Ability to do 4x4 racing in dessert if you want. Cost £12000 cheaper than in UK!
