My overall ownership experience of the Chevy Trailblazer is very good. I currently own 2 of these vehicles and would highly consider owning more. The body styling is attractive and the passenger and cargo space is greater than current mid-size SUV models on the market. I think Chevy hit it out of the park with their Trailblazer and I'm honestly sad that they've currently stopped making them.

Great car for the money. Robust and reliable. Safe car for winter driving with 4WD and 4 new tires. Easy to maintain, any garage can do repairs and services. Reasonable mileage, 20 - 22 mpg dependent on the drive style. Hitch for carrying bikes or towing heavy loads.

Performace: Accelerates ok. It's a 4wd so it's heavy, but the 4.2 in-line 6 makes upfor it I guess. Build Quality: Shotty. Standard low grade American built. Interior needs more attention to details. Appearance: Outside looks ok. Some panel gaps noticeable. Mileage/Maint.: 400 miles per tank average. Average maintenance necessary. Fun Factor: Low

Pretty awesom SUV. Good towing capacity, look good, great performance, wish I coulda gotten the SS with the 6.0L V8 but still really happy with the car.

TERRIBLE in the snow/ice. 4x4 trailblazer handles worse than my RWD open dif 5-speed cressida with 50 psi nearly bald tires. engine's got plenty of torque even the I6. it's oversize, over powered, and about like every other chevy I've driven. basically a minivan on steroids.
