After 22 years and five wonderful Ford Powerstrokes I was forced to abandon the Ford when their diesel program fell apart. My new "HD" Chevy is MUCH lighter than it's Ford twin, from overall weight to suspension components, but we're really enjoying it. The quiet, tractable, Duramax has HUGE power and decent fuel economy. It's a joy to tow with, and the cab and creature comforts are best in class. I love the stereo system and nav too - it's great for a factory system, though it could use new speakers.

It is classic General Motors truck styling, big Diesel power with out boost lag. Six speed automatic Allision transmission that has been proven in bigger rigs for decades. Turn key reliability without the head aches of regeneration and DEF fluid. The classic LBZ Duramax is the way to go for budget minded people who don't want and headaches.

The power is awesome, Good Mpgs, Ride is better than the rest, G80 locker, VGT Turbo, Bose, and a roof, Heated seats rock, Remote start never gets cold, onstar, goes good in the snow, Pulls darrens truck backwards in shakespears parking lot.
