Extremely well-built and durable car. Handles like a nimble sports sedan should! High quality interior materials and very well thought out interior! Volvo made safety a TOP priority with everything that went into the S40. Comfy & supportive front seats, back seats a bit cramped though. Cool "IKEA designed (not really)" front center column, nice space in back of it to stash items. Reliable and decent on gas...only had to replace battery, tires, and cabin air filter...no real issues at all...rare thing to say about a European car.

I like how clean the car feels inside and out. The tinted front and rear windows are a nice touch too. Great fuel economy, handling and stopping. Silver color helps keep the car looking clean year round. Love this car!

I've driven Honda's exclusively for more than 20 years. This is my first Volvo product and will not be the last. The car is well built, easy to maneuver, comfortable, and gets surprisingly good gas mileage for a car this size. The interior is well laid out and very quiet. Even though it's a 2006 model, the styling isn't dated and still draws positive attention wherever I go.

Nice car, love it being a manual. Wish it were a little faster, but gets really good gas mileage. I have had it a year and very little complaints. I think its looks sexy and I'm hoping to get some rims for it and dress it up a little bit.
