(7 reviews)After smashing into a guard rail on an icy morning, I decided I had to drive a tank. This definitely fits the bill, plus it's gorgeous, especially when it's clean.
I think we averaged 14 MPG which is better than my Explorer but not when gas prices are + $3/gal. We loved this truck which had 3rd row seating and captain's chairs in the back and front. DVD player with Xbox hookup and wireless headphones. The rear-view camera was super kewl. We really miss have space and a GPS.
i absolutely love my car! not only is it gorgeous, but it handles nicely and fits all of my stuff + 2 kids. i get a lot of looks and compliements. and the gas mileage isn't as bad as you'd hink
i like the vehicle because it is very powerful and spacious, The Towing and hauling ability is excellent. The vehicle is very comfortable and full of technology. This is a wonderful family vehicle the family and family travel. The gas miliage is not as good as it could be with this vehicle. I think infiniti should build an engine similar to the ford ecoboost that will improve the gas miliage and retain its towing ability.
We bought this vehicle to be able to car pool 7 kids to and from school. It is a great vehicle to be able to climb into and out of and holds all passengers and their backpacks easily. No blind spots with the mirrors and also the back-up camera. Navagation on the 2006 model takes a minute to set - which I understand is much more advaced on the newer models ... but it works great. The seat belt doesn't retract well when released - which I understand is the same on the newer models. We have a friend who has a 2008 model and he said his does the same thing. So as you exit the vehicle and close the door, sometimes you will close it on the seat belt. Also .. we did have to replace a headlight - which was going to run $1100 at the dealership - because it is totally encased... OUCH. So we ordered one online from a headlight store and had it replaced for about half the cost. We did not buy this vehicle for gas mileage - 14 - 18 mpg - but it gets about the same as my old Ford Explorer did (which is a smaller vehicle by far). Has great power when you need it. It handles great. Has a better turning radius than my Pontiac G6 convertible. Overall, this is a great vehicle to drive. We feel very safe driving it and it handles like a dream ... not to mention the cushy leather seats that seem to mold around you - not like the hard leather in many vehicles.
