Excellent truck.. love the trunk space, easy to haul my drums around and great to hit the trails in also.. Cost of ownership? We've owned it for a year and other than regular mntnc, recently had to replace a blower motor for the AC/Heater.. thats it.. Great performance for a 6 cyl, and of course good gas mileage because of it.. The 4WD works just like it should. Very fun and comfortable to drive.

I always said if Honda built a truck I would buy one and I did as soon as they came out with the 2006 Ridgeline. I have owned several Hondas, Civics and CRV and all of my adult children own Hondas. This truck has plenty of torque and power with class. We needed something with room for traveling with the grandkids but this truck has been a life saver when my husbands Ford trucks for the ranch break down. I have hauled cows, horses, hay and his broken truck with no problems. Gas mileage is really good for a truck and the storage compartment impresses all who see me loading the truck with bags of feed for the ranch. Over 99,000 miles and have not had to do a lick of work on it. Just the normal maintenance, will be taking it in for a new timing belt as scheduled next week.

2006 was the first year for the Ridgeline and it has not changed much since then. Overall I like the truck and the cabin area is much larger than any other similar 4 door truck. Up until last 2010 there were zero problems then things started happening. Temp control for AC & Heat stopped working on driver side... Auto door un-lock stopped working... I had to replace the rear seat floor supports several times at $250 a pop & ended up just using a bunge cord (sure hope they fixed this on newer models). Fixed dents in the tail gate more than once... you can not see anything when you back up! Never had any engine or transmission problems at all. Just change the oil and replace the tires.

Loved the way this truck drove, put chrome rims on it and changed the appearance, low to zero cost for repairs very sturdy reliable truck even in the winter cold. no problem for any weather. good gas mileage and would buy again. nice looking truck with the right rims.

It's a next generation truck. Does everything I need it to do reasonably well, and the build quality and ride is unmatched in its class. It is nothing to brag about mileage wise, but still good for an almost full size truck. As a carpenter, I love the trunk and it makes a great work truck for me with a roof rack.
